watad is still being built. This page covers the two email lists on this site — the beta waitlist and the case-study notes — and the app itself will have its own privacy policy when it ships.
Joining the beta waitlist stores your email address, the one thing you typed in as your floor commitment, your country (from your network location, not your IP address), and a timestamp. Nothing else — no name, no analytics profile, no tracking pixel. We send exactly one email, at launch.
Every waitlist email carries a one-tap unsubscribe link that removes your address and the one thing you typed, immediately, with no account and no confirmation step; a last email confirms it. Replying "stop" works too.
Signing up at the end of a case study stores your email address, your country (from your network location, not your IP address), a timestamp, and which case study you signed up from. It is a separate list from the waitlist: being on one never puts you on the other. You get one email per new case study and nothing else — no digest, no launch news.

The case studies are written by the founder with AI tools as a foundation. They describe engineering; they never describe a real person's data, floor, or account.
One founder has access. There is no growth team, no analytics vendor, and no data broker.
